After several years of experience in Évora, the M’AR De AR Hotels group's wish came true, and the result is here: the Alentejo has come to Lisbon! A culinary concept that blends tradition, innovation, and a deep passion for the land. More than just a restaurant, Degust’AR Lisboa is a true sensory journey. With a capacity for 100 guests, the space offers a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxed lunches, special dinners, or unforgettable moments at the table.
Leading the kitchen is renowned Chef António Nobre, a reference in Alentejo cuisine and the mastermind behind the prestigious restaurants Degust’AR, Degust’AR Bistro, and Sabores do Alentejo. Born in the Alentejo region, he always looked on his mother's and grandmother's culinary arts with great affection. The Alentejo cuisine, he says, is based on a constant discovery of smells and flavours. Take, for example, the acidic Alentejo bread, unlike any others, the rustic meats, the presence of river fish, and the golden thread that is woven into each dish: the regional olive oil.
His creative vision breathes new life into traditional recipes, honoring their original flavors while showcasing fresh, local ingredients. The menu is a tribute to Mediterranean cuisine with an Alentejo soul — rich, generous, and deeply rooted in Portuguese culture.
