Akla Restaurant, located at the InterContinental Lisbon Hotel, opened back in 2015, and since then, it has turned into a reference not only for guests but locals as well. With a modern design and elegant decoration, the restaurant also features typical Portuguese tile panels, along with a spacious area.

At Akla Restaurant, you can enjoy a gastronomical experience that combines local flavors and our chef’s international experience, in a concept of sharing not only the flavors, but good moments as well.

Signature dishes such as the seabass ceviche, the shrimp “pica-pau” or the josper grilled octopus are some of the options available at the restaurant, and at our special Chef’s Table, an exclusive table for 6 persons with live cooking, available for dinner. The restaurant’s menu values local and fresh produce, with a strong influence of Portuguese traditions, making each meal a unique experience, with flavours from both the sea and the earth.

More recently, Azorean-born Chef Eddy Melo has developed an entirely Azorean menu that takes us to the islands. The menu has been carefully thought out and designed to include flavours and ingredients from his homeland, creating original dishes with a unique flavour.
