Can Simoneta Gastronòmic is the culinary space where chef David Moreno and his team — led by Benito Torres, Santiago Herrera, and Miguel Bordoy — present “Mexiterranean”, a concept inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine and reinterpreted through Mallorca’s local produce.
The restaurant offers a 15-course tasting menu for only 12 guests, served in the new Origen dining room, designed by Mallorcan artist Ana Pareja. The dining experience, led by Nene García and Pere Gost, completes this intimate and carefully curated journey.
After three seasons exploring the Mexiterranean concept — a culinary dialogue between Mexico and the Mediterranean — through the menus “Origen”, “Between Two Worlds”, and “Mexiterranean Essence”, comes “9600”, the consolidation of the project.
The name refers to the 9,600 kilometres that separate Mexico and Mallorca and that, through gastronomy, ultimately bring them together. In this new proposal, local produce and cultural roots take centre stage.
