Ramen Otaku Restaurant
Ramen Otaku the first restaurant dedicated to ramen in Mallorca
In 1993, young German chef Björn Heibült immersed himself in Japanese culture while accompanying his Michelin-starred father in Tokyo, developing a deep admiration for ramen. Years later, after serving prestigious clients in the Pitiusas, Björn realized the Balearic Islands lacked authentic ramen.
Inspired by his wife’s advice, he trained with Michelin-recommended chefs in Tokyo. In 2019, he opened the first dedicated ramen restaurant in Mallorca, setting a new standard for Japanese cuisine on the island.
Today, the restaurant proudly produces homemade noodles using a machine imported from Japan, only incorporating local Mallorcan flour to support local businesses. They also craft their own gyoza dough with the same machine, which consistently produces perfect gyoza every time.
Constantly innovating recipes, Björn and his team remain committed to excellence. Now, they are expanding their brand through franchising, aiming to share their passion for ramen beyond Mallorca, while maintaining their position as leaders in quality and authenticity.
