Teranka Garden Restaurant, a Journey of Flavors

Located in the garden porch of Teranka Formentera Hotel, Teranka Garden reopens this season with a unique gastronomic concept that combines familiar, seafaring, traveled, simple, and sophisticated cuisine with strong roots in the land of Formentera and the Balearic Islands. The essence of Teranka Garden lies in the simplest pleasures - connection to nature, good company, and pure yet surprising flavors.

Under the direction of Executive Corporate Chef Sergio Martínez and Executive Chef José Doblas, Teranka Garden offers a culinary experience that will delight diners with its focus on simplicity and respect for local produce.

The cuisine of Teranka Garden is characterized by fusing local ingredients from the land and sea with the range of flavors discovered during the chefs' travels around the world. From reinterpreted sashimis with a rich raw cuisine to almadraba tuna and oysters, grilled dishes, and daily off-menu surprises, every bite at Teranka Garden is an authentic journey around the world.

"At Teranka Garden, we aim to provide a space where our diners can enjoy alfresco dining without worries, with friends and family," comments Sergio Martinez.

"Our menu includes a variety of culinary delights, from Wagyu beef cecina to patatas bravas fritters, orzo risotto with red prawns, and a good ribeye steak. And for those who wish to taste authentic regional dishes, we invite you to try our 'chipirones a la bruta,' a traditional Formentera dish to which we have added mezzi paccheri pasta that resembles the typical 'calamares a la bruta'."

Teranka Garden is committed to promoting sustainability and supporting local producers. Their suppliers are carefully selected, prioritizing locally sourced ingredients from Formentera, Ibiza, and even Mallorca, such as the prestigious 'porc negre' (black pig).

The restaurant, nestled among a pine forest and just a few steps from the sea, is located on the ground floor of the hotel and consists of two areas - the covered porch with wooden tables, shades of green, and a Chef's Table for showcooking dinners - and a sand area, complete with Italian-style communal tables, a central bar for cocktail lovers, and relaxation zones with natural awnings for those seeking a leisurely afternoon before heading up to the Rooftop for the sunset.
