Tucked away in Ibiza town’s former fishermen’s quarter of Sa Penya, Taller de Tapas is one of the island’s most personable and pioneering eateries.
Chef Boris Buono’s flair for natural cooking was cultivated at Noma in Copenhagen. In 2015 he opened a more intimate restaurant in Ibiza, helmed with his wife and indelible host Vanessa Lagares, Their shared sensibility for natural ingredients, foraged herbs, and the highest quality produce reflects and enriches the island’s authentic food culture. “I always wanted to create a place for people to communicate and connect in a free way,” says Boris, “which is why, more than ever, we are focused on sharing our knowledge, telling universal stories, and making our restaurant a place of sustenance and guidance, especially with so much else in the world in flux.”
