There are anniversaries that encourage us to look back, but also appreciate everything that has made it possible to progress this far. For Bedrinks, more than a symbolic figure, this tenth summer is an opportunity to recognise the soundness of a project that has grown based on commitment, knowledge and a clear service vocation. Ten seasons in Ibiza and Formentera have consolidated Bedrinks as a benchmark distributor, specialising in wines and spirits, and backed by a team that is clearly its greatest strength.
Bedrinks was created in November 2015 as a multi-category distributor, with a range that included soft drinks, beers, dairy products, water and coffee. The company's evolution has been constant and strategic and its identity now focuses on specialising in wines and spirits, the cornerstones of its current catalogue and the backbone of its strategic plan to be the choice in these categories within the HoReCa channel. The transition has been the result of a careful reading of the sector's needs and a clear commitment to adding knowledge-based value.
Bedrinks' present is defined by the consolidation of its sales team. Despite increasing difficulties in finding staff in Ibiza, the company has managed to build a stable team. This speaks of commitment, continuity and a company culture where people are at the centre.

This robustness also applies to training. Almost the entire sales and shop team hold WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 2, an international accreditation that certifies in-depth knowledge of wine and spirits. Also, some of the team have already reached Level 3 in wine. In addition to this, continuous training sessions with suppliers and visits to wineries enable the team to keep up to date and connect directly with the origin of the products they represent. This preparation means expert advice for the customers, providing value beyond distribution.
Two years of the Bedrinks shop, a place for sharing
The Bedrinks outlet in Ibiza port celebrates its second anniversary in August. Since its opening, the shop has established itself as a meeting place between the world of wine and the professional and end consumers.
One of the main new features this year is the launch of a new tasting room, a space designed to bring the product closer to customers in the HoReCa channel and carry out training and experiential activities aimed at end consumers. This new room is in addition to the showroom located in the Can Bufí warehouse so that Bedrinks can provide personalised experiences and further strengthen the bond with its customers.
Ibiza and Formentera act as "trend laboratories" in the catering and consumer sector. Bedrinks has succeeded in interpreting the market changes: consumers who drink less but demand more quality, and the hospitality industry that seeks to differentiate itself through a drinks proposal that is meticulous, coherent and with added value.

In recent years, the range of beverages has steadily become more premiumised. Bedrinks has accompanied this process with an increasingly select and specialised portfolio, capable of meeting the demands of gastro restaurants, luxury hotels and venues that seek their own identity through its references.
Ten seasons are certainly a reason to celebrate. Nevertheless, for Bedrinks, this anniversary is just another step on a path that looks to the future with the same determination as it did at the start. What is the secret of its success? A committed team and a business model based on knowledge and specialisation. Bedrinks is still committed to a customer-friendly, honest and highly professional service. The bonds that are forged along the way and the passion for sharing a job well done are what really make the difference.
