After the success of its Madrid launch, Tatel Ibiza looks set to become one of the leading restaurants on the island, where the influx of international customers is helping achieve the goal of exporting traditional Spanish haute cuisine abroad. The chosen space, a 300-seat establishment located at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, has retained the aesthetic identity of Tatel Madrid combined with a local touch thanks to the aquamarine green chosen to decorate the columns, a clear nod to the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean that can be seen from the terrace of the restaurant.

Located on the shores of the Mediterranean, Tatel Ibiza brings with it a ground-breaking, transgressive culinary concept fusing together the best of gastronomy and an impressive programme of music and live entertainment.

Tatel Ibiza, which boasts sister establishments in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia and other exotic places such as Beverly Hills, Doha, Riyad and Mexico, began from the partnership of the businessmen Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos and has partners as internationally renowned as Rafael Nadal, Pau Gasol and Enrique Iglesias.

Entertainment and haute cuisine

Based on Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine, Tatel Ibiza, led by the chef Rubén Pradana, takes traditional Spanish recipes and puts an international twist on them with a touch of sophistication and innovation. The carefully-selected gastronomy is based on the high-quality raw ingredients that they work with, many of which are produced locally.
As chef Rubén Pradana explains, the 2023 menu will have a fresher feel than Tatel Madrid’s, although the brand’s core principles will remain the same, including maximum respect for produce, traditional recipes brought up to date, Spanish gastronomy adapted to seasonal market produce and one clear objective: helping to export traditional Spanish haute cuisine abroad.

Tatel combines Mediterranean fine dining and excellent service with a incredible programme of live music available all year round and an exclusive selection of beverages, from the most traditional cocktails to their own innovative creations. Thanks to this, visitors can enjoy a unique experience based on those great moments that happen day in day out around Spanish tables.

From the 1920s to the present day

Tatel Ibiza revives the legend of the speakeasies of the United States in the 1920s, during the controversial Prohibition Era, when only the most daring bars survived, and combines it with the most innovative techniques and present-day tastes to design unique cocktails that transport diners straight to those nights of debauchery.

The exclusive drinks selection, the exceptional spaces, which include large lounges, striking bars, incredible terraces and galleries and live music all year round, make any Tatel the perfect place to enjoy the never-ending conversation and good times that come after dinner.

The Tatel family

Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos Guallar created Tatel with the hope of becoming an icon of Spanish culture and traditional haute cuisine both at home and abroad. To do so, they tasked the chefs Nino Redruelo and Patxi Zumárraga, in charge of culinary management, with creating a menu with a distinct traditional Spanish feel, to which they sprinkled a touch of innovation and personality, making dishes such as the truffled omelette an essential classic.

Having firmly established itself in its different locations, Tatel Madrid, the flagship restaurant of the group, is included on the list of the 25 restaurants in the world worth travelling for published by the prestigious newspaper USA Today. What’s more, the different locations have been awarded the TripAdvisor Travellers’ choice distinction, which means that they are part of the top 10% of the world’s best restaurants as rated by their customers, among many other awards.
