Bedrinks
Behind every table there’s someone who has chosen the right bottle: a sommelier, a front-of-house manager, an owner who knows the list by heart. And behind them, almost always, someone from Bedrinks. The sales rep who drops by the restaurant mid-morning. The shop assistant who remembers a loyal customer’s tastes. The warehouse team preparing the urgent Friday restock. The group’s sommelier who returned from Burgundy with a spot-on recommendation. Ten seasons in Ibiza and Formentera go a long way towards getting to know the sector face to face, building a portfolio that meets its high standards, and ensuring that behind every bottle served there is, almost always, a conversation.
A portfolio built with expertise
Bedrinks has arguably built the most comprehensive champagne portfolio in Ibiza. The company exclusively brings together all the great maisons of the Moët Hennessy group - Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Dom Pérignon, Krug and Armand de Brignac - alongside Louis Roederer and its much-admired Cristal, as well as small producers such as Paul Bara, Crété Chamberlin, Lamiable and Collard Picard, among others. A depth rarely found on the islands, which explains why a large proportion of the wine lists at the major hotels and restaurants in Ibiza and Formentera rely on its sparkling wine selection.

In terms of still wines, the great Spanish wineries - Vega Sicilia, Artadi, Carmelo Rodero, Viña Sastre, Abadía Retuerta, Terroir al Límit, among many others - are joined by French wines from Louis Latour, Domaine de Montille, Jean-Pierre Moueix and M. Chapoutier, alongside a wide variety of Burgundy’s petits vignerons; Italian producers such as Gaja, Pio Cesare, Elio Altare and Livio Felluga; New World wines from Cloudy Bay, Amisfield, Argento, Torbreck and Kumeu; and the great rosés of Provence, including Whispering Angel and the full range of wines from Château d’Esclans, Château Minuty, Domaines Ott, Château d’Estoublon, Eau de Provence and Galoupet, all exclusive to the islands.
The portfolio has an extensive spirits section: Scotch and Japanese whiskies, bourbons, a substantial selection of gins featuring current trends such as Gin Condesa from Mexico, premium vodkas such as Belvedere and Grey Goose, rums from around the world including Angostura, Santiago de Cuba, Clement and Brugal; and one category where Bedrinks has truly made its mark: the world of agave, with probably the most comprehensive range of Mexican spirits in Ibiza and Formentera, featuring such well-known brands as Patrón, Volcán, Clase Azul, Don Fulano, Siete Leguas, G4, Ocho, Convite, Calenda, Bozal, Derrumbes and La Venenosa Raicilla.

Operations and showroom
Behind all this offering stands an excellent team and logistics operation, with extensive storage facilities and a showroom in the Can Bufí industrial estate. This is in addition to the opening of new operational facilities in Sant Ferran (Formentera), which replace the previous warehouse and enhance the service provided to the island’s HoReCa sector.
The shop, a meeting place
Since 2023, the Bedrinks shop in the port of Ibiza has served as a meeting place for the sector. It’s not just a point of sale: it’s where the portfolio comes to life. HoReCa professionals come to sample new products, alongside residents and travellers with discerning gastronomic tastes. This year’s highlight is the new tasting room, which allows for the organisation of training sessions, winery presentations, client recommendation sessions and private tastings.
The toast to come
Ten years after the leap that gave rise to the project, Bedrinks isn’t celebrating its anniversary by looking back. It’s celebrating by launching new facilities in Formentera, launching the new tasting room in the port of Ibiza, adding more wineries and spirits to the portfolio and reminding us that the culinary scene on these islands, which each season rivals the world’s great gastronomic capitals, is also built glass by glass. Here’s to everything still to come.
