Dining Experience at The View

The culinary essence of 7Pines Resort is rooted in the heart of its destination, where every dish is a celebration of local flavours and products. In line with this philosophy, the resort's famed restaurant, The View, has retained its distinguished Mediterranean-Nordic influence, offering a selection of dishes which combine a selection of specialities from the Balearic Islands such as red mullet, tuna and red shrimp from Ibiza.

Oscar has created three new unique tasting menus at The View for this season, consisting of 4 and 6 courses each for visitors to choose from, including a vegetarian menu (menus range in price from 95€ to 128€). The menus are inspired by his passion for Mediterranean flavours, revealed in every detail. Highlights from the tasting menu include lightly grilled mackerel; the "Balfegó" tuna harmonica (from sustainable fishing); the Ibicencan red shrimp; or local lamb loin. In addition, diners have the option of enjoying an à la carte menu, which offers an even wider selection of culinary delights to suit all tastes and preferences.

Dishes are complemented by a wide selection of Spanish and international wines from the resort's carefully curated wine cellar, with pairings available. In addition, guests can discover the wine collection with a delicious wine tasting at The View, led by the resort's expert sommelier. The sommelier will give advice on wine tasting and pairing techniques, and explain the both the history and origins of each of the wines tasted.

Four-handed dining at The View

Situated on a clifftop overlooking spectacular panoramic views of the glittering Mediterranean Sea, The View is the resort’s sophisticated flagship restaurant offering Mediterranean-Nordic cuisine in a setting to match its creative gastronomic talent.

This year, The View will continue its acclaimed ‘Four Hands Dinners’, which brings together a carefully curated selection of Michelin-starred chefs to the restaurant to cook alongside Executive Chef Oscar Salazar and craft a spectacular one-night-only dinner menu. In addition, cooking workshops will be held the following day, offering food enthusiasts the opportunity to learn how to cook the dishes tasted the previous evening.

Among the confirmed four-hands dinners are Chef Miguel Carretero from Michelin-starred Santerra in Madrid. Visiting on July 11th, Miguel is known for his focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, as well as his contemporary twists on traditional dishes.

The second confirmed guest will be Chef Javier Guillen from 23rd – 28th June, bringing an impressive wealth of experience from venues including El Bulli, Valrhona, Pierre Hermé and Oriol Balaguer. Guillen, awarded Best Pastry Chef and Revelation Chef of the Year in the National Gastronomic Guide, will surprise diners with a dessert breakfast extravaganza followed by an exclusive dinner at The View and an exciting cooking workshop, offering participants a unique opportunity to learn from one of today's leading pastry chefs.
