Loco Restaurant
LOCO means in place, in order words, in the cuisine. The cuisine is where Chef Alexandre Silva’s heart and his team are. A heart that occupies an area larger than the restaurant room and expresses the cook’s philosophy.
It has only 22 seats, serves dinners exclusively and has no A La Carte option – a very thoughtful choice of Alexandre Silva, who proposes only one menu to his guests which change based on micro seasons and the daily supply of markets and producers.
LOCO is an organic project that values national products and nature avoiding waste – one of the highest values of LOCO’s philosophy. It draws inspiration from tradition and the identity references of national gastronomy, but subverts and elevates it to another conceptual level, rechearching and experimenting new procedures.
In addition to Executive Chef, Alexandre Silva is a Managing Partner of LOCO, along with his wife, Sara Gomes. Known by their authenticity, together they conquer the soul of their devoted team and transform, every day a project for two into a project for fiftheen.
