Cantina Peruana and Pisco Bar Lisboa by Diego Muñoz have recently relocated from the first floor of Bairro do Avillez to Rua de São Paulo, in Lisbon.
Cantina Peruana
Diverse, delicious and bursting with flavour, Peruvian cuisine is now renowned the world over thanks to its history and different cultural influences, and Diego Muñoz is one of its most famous ambassadors.
The partnership between head chef, Diego Muñoz, and the José Avillez Group (the first collaboration between the José Avillez Group and an international chef) recreates the easy-going, bohemian atmosphere of Lima’s traditional cantinas. The menu is based on contemporary Peruvian cuisine, inviting you on a stroll through the streets of Lima with its different gastronomic influences (Andean, Spanish, African, Japanese and Chinese). The menu, created by Diego Muñoz, has retained many original dishes along with some new additions thanks to the collaboration of José Avillez, who selected the most suitable Portuguese fish species and advised on the preferences of Portuguese people. At the table, the focus is on the concept of sharing with generous portions.
At the new Cantina Peruana, you can enjoy the atmosphere of Lima’s traditional cantinas, which are meeting places for having lunch, a snack, dinner or drinks.
Pisco Bar Lisboa
Pisco Bar Lisboa is famous for its original, fresh and colourful cocktails. It offers a wide range of the most traditional and famous Peruvian cocktails: Los Chilcanos, Los Exploradores and some alcohol-free alternatives such as the Peruvian favourite Chica Morada.
