AKLA is an author’s cuisine restaurant that features seasonal dishes with a lot of tradition and flavor. Inaugurated in 2016, it was chosen the following year the Best Portuguese Luxury Restaurant by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards. On the menu of chef Eddy Melo, which is varied and invites to moments of sharing, dishes from the world merge with proposals of Portuguese cuisine, in a marriage of exotic and traditional flavors.
Eddy Melo comes from the island of Azores and, after several years of cooking abroad, he returns there to collect some of the products that arrive at the table at AKLA.Fresh fish and aged meat are cooked in the Josper coal oven.
The restaurant is elegant and cosmopolitan, decorated with refinement, in the heart of the city of Lisbon. It has a capacity of 88 people and runs at lunch from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner from 7 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
