Akla Restaurant, located at the InterContinental Lisbon Hotel, opened back in 2015, and since then, it has turned into a reference not only for guests but locals as well. With a modern design and elegant decoration, the restaurant also features typical Portuguese tile panels, along with a spacious area.

Born in the Azores, the head Chef Eddy Melo had a career path that led him from Canada and the United States all the way to Jamaica and then Europe, before finally returning to Portugal.
