The Repsol Guide has awarded Maymanta with their special prize, a Sun awards, where his chef, Omar Malpartida, has defended his proposals for 2 years in which he fuses Ibizan and Peruvian products from Km 0.
The renowned chef Omar Malpartida, has acquired an important culinary position on the island of Ibiza thanks to his innovative and proximity proposals that have led him to be appointed by the Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel group as gastronomic director of all its projects.
Until now, Malpartida had led the Maymanta restaurant and, after the success achieved with this proposal, which has resulted in obtaining its first Sun award from the Repsol Guide, has been in charge of all the initiatives of the Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe group Hotel.
Maymanta's culinary proposals offer a taste trip from Ibiza to Peru from its spectacular panoramic terrace. The chef thus proposes a route through the Amazon, the Andes and the Pacific, in a space where there is no shortage of Creole tapas, ceviches, tiraditos or woks.
