La Mariterránea is located in the centre of San Ferrán, in a country cottage lovingly decorated with a seafaring theme, guests can have dinner by the light of the stars in a welcoming inner courtyard.

The restaurant is run by Pili and Antonio, who will make you feel totally at home. Their cuisine represents a tour around the geography of Spain, but the outstanding dishes by far are their fabulous Valencian paellas.

James Sills is in charge of the cooking. An Englishman, he arrived in Valencia over 22 years ago, and has been passionate about that region’s cuisine ever since.

La Mariterránea has its own supply of rice, grown in la Albufera, and such is their obsession with the quality of their paellas that they take the utmost care over the tiniest details.
