Six Senses Ibiza, an ode to flavour and sustainability

Six Senses Ibiza, an ode to flavour and sustainability

Andrés Fernández

Set in idyllic Cala Xarraca, where the turquoise sea calmly laps the Ibizan shore, Six Senses Ibiza stands as a bastion of luxury and wellbeing on the island, and is a pioneer in the sustainable food revolution. It is firmly focused on the “from the field to the table” philosophy, and the resort transforms each meal into a gourmet adventure that wins over the most discerning diners while fully respecting the environment at the same time.

Four food concepts, one shared philosophy

Under the expert leadership of executive chef Andrés Fernández, who joins Six Senses Ibiza as head of the kitchen team this season, the resort has four restaurants with different concepts but a shared, unwavering commitment to quality and sustainability.

North by Eyal Shani: a dance of cultures

North by Eyal Shani restaurant is the jewel in the crown, a place where flavours from the Mediterranean and Israel blend together in a culinary dance. Chef Eyal Shani, a star of international cooking, uses Ibizan products to reinterpret the traditional dishes of his native Israel. The atmosphere, a gorgeous outdoor space set in an olive grove, perfectly matches the food.

The Beach Caves: the most magical sunset on the island

Right on the seafront and with sunset views, this restaurant pays tribute to Latin American flavours. Live music and cocktails capture the essence of Ibiza, making The Beach Caves the perfect place to enjoy unforgettable nights in classic Ibizan style.

The Orchard: grilled dishes with an Italian flavour

An oasis of calm with an authentic Italian character set in the middle of a stunning fruit orchard. Grigliata is the order of the day here, with fish, seafood and meat cooked on an outdoor grill so that diners can enjoy feeling as though they are at a genuine Italian trattoria under Ibiza’s starry skies.

Farmers’ Market: from the field to the plate

This casual space is perfect for when you’d like a light meal or sunset cocktail. The space makes full use of natural light while the decoration has been designed to inspire total relaxation. The menu features everything from home-made pizzas to organic salads, and every dish is prepared using ingredients from the Six Senses Ibiza farm.

Sustainability with every bite

At Six Senses Ibiza, sustainability isn’t just an empty catchphrase, it is part of the resort’s daily practice. From totally eliminating single use plastics to preparing food from produce grown on its own organic farm, the resort works hard to minimize its environmental impact while maximising the culinary experience of its guests.

Even the smallest detail at Six Senses Ibiza has been designed to give people the greatest possible pleasure through sustainable and healthy practices: peace, tranquillity, and harmony reign at a resort with remarkable panoramic sea views, where the predominant use of natural colours and materials conveys calm and wellbeing to everyone who visits.

Six Senses Ibiza is much more than a destination, it is a transformational experience where each dish tells a story and every bite promises a more sustainable future. Its approach is as environmentally aware as it is delicious, and the resort redefines the concept of luxury food, inviting guests to enjoy the magnificence of Ibiza through the most authentic flavours that respect our planet. Six Senses Ibiza is a place where food is savoured and celebrated in style.
